update

I just got the call from the home health agency setting up the plan! They just recieved the orders from my doctors office...so here it is: I will be put on a terbutaline pump which will administer terbutaline sulfate subcutaneously through a needle/pump system in my thigh. This will hopefully stop any contractions from making the cervix length worse. Also--steroids will be given to develp the girls lungs--these are 2 shots given in my hiney 48 hours apart. They will also be installing a home monitoring system that will administered twice daily for 1 hour each that will be sent directly to my doctors office to monitor for contractions. And if that wasn't enough fun...I have to remain in bed--as flat as possible--as if I was in the hospital. I can shower every 3 days and use the restroom but no more walking to the tv room or getting myself a snack in the kitchen! That was my favorite activity!! But you will not hear me complain as this is what I need to do to keep these sweet babies inside where they are safe! Hang in there Emma and Lily! Momma loves you and will do ANYTHING it takes to keep you in there!! 28 weeks here we come!! Jen
