our house...

Since the evening weather has been so beautiful here in Austin, our new nightly ritual consists of gathering up the kiddos and loading them in the bob, leashing up the dog, and exploring our wonderful neighborhood. Well we stumbled across a very cute bungalow for sale and we fell in love instantly!! We came home and called our realtor and was able to get into see it the very next morning. So needless to say we made an offer and it was accepted!! The inspection was yesterday and the inspector couldnt believe how good shape it is in--especially being an old house. The only thing we MUST do is paint inside...the current owners are OBSESSED with the color purple...yes...purple...every ceiling, trim, room, window, cubbard. I didn't even take any pictures inside. It's bad...but if you look beyong the color it is just such a cute little cottage with tons of vintage charm...and the gardens...well they are magical. All that is needed is a very small lap pool in the back--edged in gray granite and surrounded by the lush, green lawn. So lots going on around here...I am thinking about expanding my blog beyond just the girls and incorporating home projects too...we are off to Santa Barbara where we rented a house by the beach for 10 days!!
